A breathtaking view of Lefka Ori Mountains
The trail to Melidaou summit is one of the most beautiful of the White Mountains. The scenery is simply unique. Countless peaks around us on the way up, breathtaking views to Samaria gorge from above, at the same time, you can have the North and the South Cretan sea in the same frame! A panorama of the White Mountains with some of its highest peaks that you can admire when we reach the summit.
On our way, we will pass by Kallergi shelter, where we can enjoy a hot cup of the famous local mountain tea (Malotira) while we get a 360° view of the White Mountain’s fame!
